I’m a provider: see our questionsThe key questions first.
When do I need Global Mobility support?
When employees work across borders and you are unsure what you need to arrange as an employer. For example, an assignment, a relocation or temporary work from another country. You can also turn to us with questions about policies, costs, risks or changes in your Global Mobility team.
Can I contact you about just one Global Mobility question?
Yes. You can engage us for a single question, without committing to a larger project. Call Dennis or use Let’s Talk. If advice or research is needed, we agree on the work and fees with you in advance.
Do I need a subscription to get Global Mobility advice?
No. Global Mobility Expertise On Demand requires no subscription or minimum commitment. You can start with one question or assignment. You pay for the agreed work within the budget agreed in advance.
Do we need an ongoing agreement to work with you?
No. You can engage us for one question, one project or a defined assignment. Ongoing support is an option, not a requirement. At the end of the assignment, you decide whether to continue.
Can international rules apply to just one employee or a one-time assignment abroad?
Yes. International rules can apply in those situations too. The requirements depend on the countries, activities and duration involved. You do not automatically need a full Global Mobility program or external support. We can help you establish what your situation requires.
Understanding cross-border work.
What exactly is Global Mobility?
Global Mobility is about employees working across borders and how you manage that as an employer. It includes policies, costs, employee support and compliance with applicable requirements. It can involve an assignment, a relocation or working from another country.
Can you advise us if an employee wants to work temporarily from another country?
Yes. We identify the potential implications and arrangements needed. We consider the country, duration, work activities and your existing policies. We provide our own advice and involve specialist partners where needed.
Why pay attention to Global Mobility if working internationally has gone smoothly so far?
Because the absence of problems does not prove that all obligations and arrangements are covered. A focused review can clarify risks, costs and responsibilities. If something is already working well, it does not need to change.
Can startups and small businesses without a Global Mobility team work with you?
Yes. You can work with us without an in-house Global Mobility team. We help HR or the business owner address the specific situation and tailor our contribution to the company’s size and ambitions.
Finding the right support.
What do you add if we already have an experienced Global Mobility team?
Specialist expertise, an independent sounding board or interim senior leadership. We can help with a policy question, provider selection, cost analysis or change initiative, for example. We build on your team’s knowledge.
What do you mean by strengthening Global Mobility from within?
We bring experience from the employer’s side into your organization. Alongside your team, we connect expert advice with policies, decision-making and collaboration. This helps improvements become part of how your organization works.
Which Global Mobility service is right for our needs?
Expertise On Demand is for a specific question or assignment. Transformation addresses change across your Global Mobility function. Leadership provides senior leadership and team development. Full & Hybrid Support provides ongoing oversight and agreed support. We help you choose; services can also be combined.
Can you lead our Global Mobility team without a full-time hire?
Yes. Global Mobility Leadership gives you access to senior leadership for an agreed portion of time. We can set priorities, coach your team and strengthen collaboration with other departments. Support can be interim or ongoing.
What is the difference between Global Mobility Full Support and Hybrid Support?
With Full Support, we take broad responsibility for the agreed Global Mobility function. With Hybrid Support, we share that responsibility with your own team. In both cases, we document who advises, decides, coordinates and delivers.
Do you also help implement changes in Global Mobility?
Yes. We also guide the implementation of improvements. This can include setting up processes, clarifying responsibilities, supporting teams and coordinating providers. We agree in advance what we will do and what remains with your team and partners.
Risks and working with specialists.
How do you help with compliance and the risks of working internationally?
We help identify, assess and address risks. Compliance means meeting the requirements that apply to your situation. We provide our own advice, establish responsibilities and, where needed, coordinate specialist partners from our network or yours.
Do you provide Global Mobility advice yourselves or involve specialists?
Both. We provide expert advice ourselves and bring in specialist partners when additional expertise is needed. These may be our partners or advisors you already work with. We make clear in advance who will provide each area of advice and handle the next steps.
Can we keep our existing tax advisor, relocation partner or other provider?
Yes. You do not need to change advisors or providers to work with us. We collaborate with your existing network. If additional expertise is needed, we discuss it with you first.
Can you help our organization and Procurement select Global Mobility providers?
Yes. We support your organization and Procurement with specialist Global Mobility expertise. We turn your needs into selection criteria, build shortlists, guide RFPs, and assess proposals against cost, quality, compliance, and employee experience. We also help improve performance and commitments with existing providers. Your organization makes the final provider selection and contract award decisions.
Who makes the decisions during a Global Mobility engagement?
Your organization remains responsible for its decisions. We can advise, coordinate and take on agreed responsibilities. We document decision-making authority, points of contact and reporting in advance.
Costs and getting started.
How are Global Mobility Expertise On Demand fees determined?
You pay for the actual time spent on agreed work, at an hourly rate and within a monthly cap agreed in advance. There are no setup fees, and the cap is not a spending commitment. You receive an estimate of hours upfront. A fixed project fee or a block of hours is also possible. Additional work requires your approval.
Can we start with a small Global Mobility assignment and expand later?
Yes. You can start small and expand later if needed. We agree on the terms of any follow-up work separately. You are not required to continue after the first assignment.
How do we start a conversation about our Global Mobility needs?
Call Dennis or use Let’s Talk. Briefly tell us what is happening, which countries are involved and what you want to achieve. You do not need to have the issue fully defined. We’ll work out the next step together.
One question is a good place to start.
Tell Dennis what is happening. We’ll discuss the support that fits.
