Mobility Mastery grew out of a shared ambition between Dennis and Jen: to raise the standard of Global Mobility, with quality, independence and care for people at its core.

Expertise deserves room to make a difference.

Dennis has experienced Global Mobility from many angles: specialist advice at the Big 4, consulting and responsibility within international organizations. He understands business priorities, the challenges a Global Mobility team faces and the impact on people working across borders.

Dennis saw the difference that expert advice, strong leadership and thoughtful execution can make together. He wanted to bring that quality to organizations, whether they needed help with a specific question or with shaping their entire Global Mobility function.

Jen shared that ambition. Her interest in psychology, change management and strategic thinking brought a complementary perspective: how do you make a sound direction clear and meaningful to the people involved? Together, they founded Mobility Mastery. Their mission is to make senior Global Mobility expertise accessible and help organizations pursue their international ambitions thoughtfully, with people in mind.

Dennis Michels.

Dennis brings more than 25 years of Global Mobility experience. His career spans international organizations including ABN AMRO, Capgemini and Bacardi, as well as the advisory practices of PwC and Deloitte.

His expertise also covers Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits and international HR, backed by a strong tax background. This combination gives him both breadth and depth: from policy and specialist advice to governance, service delivery, leadership and change. He understands how decisions at the executive and team levels shape the employee experience.

At Mobility Mastery, Dennis is the primary expert contact for clients. He applies his expertise to specific questions, strategic decisions and the development of the Global Mobility function.

Jen van Gerven-Michels.

Jen combines her passion for change management, psychology and strategic thinking with experience in entrepreneurship, hospitality, social work, coaching, training and leadership.

Her interest lies in how people and organizations develop: what motivates people, how sound decisions are made and what it takes for change to work.

At Mobility Mastery, Jen works primarily behind the scenes on the direction and development of the business. She also works on projects. While Dennis is usually the main point of contact for clients, she brings her perspective to strategy, organization and how we put our ambitions into practice.
